Earth Week event at the Great Lakes Aquarium April 21

Join us on April 21 at the Great Lakes Aquarium to kick off Earth Weekend, doors will open at 6:30 pm.

  • Hors d’oeuvres and a cash bar will be available.
  • We will premiere our short film produced as a part of our NOVA Climate Across America campaign, Is Duluth Climate Proof? We will also air a short film from the Redford Center, Community Power Minnesota: Transportation and Happiness and NOVA’s Weathering the Future.
  • You will have the opportunity to meet some of the aquarium’s residents! Touch pools will be open and we will have one special guest (either a skunk or a snake, depending on the animals’ moods).
  • Special guests from the Large Lakes Observatory will discuss their efforts to provide foundational science for managing Earth’s large lakes.

Space is limited, must RSVP to attend.

Parking by the aquarium is $10 however you can park for free if you are an aquarium member.
