Derek’s Bison Bone Marrow Tartine Recipe

An ultra-sensory experience Bison Bone Marrow Tartine is rich and utterly satisfying! The best way to start a meal!

Ingredients

Loaf of sourdough (NOT SLICED)

3 bison marrow bones

3 tomatoes

2 bunches of flat-leaf parsley

2 shallots

2 lemons

Garlic blub

Olive oil to taste

Salt & Pepper to taste

Bread knife

Knife

Cutting board

Sheet tray

Aluminon foil

Grater

Oven proof pots


Instructions

  1. Slice sourdough horizontally. Fry face down in cast iron.
  2. Roast bones at 400 F
  3. Roast garlic
  4. Grate tomatoes
  5. In a separate bowl, mix parsley, shallots, lemon zest, lemon juice, salt, and pepper
  6. Rub roasted garlic on sourdough, spread tomatoes, spread bone marrow, and add a fresh salad
