Just a Bite – Derek’s Nettle Hummus

An herbaceous creamy spread or dip is commonly eaten in the Middle East and the Mediterranean.

Ingredients

28 oz chickpeas (presoaked or canned)

4 cups stinging nettle

2 lemons

2 T sunflower oil

Sea Salt to taste

Cumin to taste

Smoked garlic powder to taste

Robo coupe

Knife

Cutting Board


Instructions

  1. Blanche nettles
  2. Add all ingredients to robo coupe, omit sunflower oil
  3. Blend & emulsify with sunflower oil
